Overview
A dental implant is a small, biocompatible titanium post that takes the place of a missing tooth root. Once it integrates with the jawbone, it supports a custom crown, bridge, or denture that looks, feels, and functions like a natural tooth.
Because the implant replaces the root — not just the visible tooth — it also helps stimulate and preserve the jawbone, which naturally shrinks after tooth loss.

Implants are often the best option if you have:
The process
We review your health, take a CBCT scan and digital impressions, and map the exact position for your implant.
The implant is placed precisely and comfortably using your digital plan, with sedation options discussed beforehand.
Over a few months the implant fuses with the bone. A temporary may be provided in the meantime.
We design and fit your custom crown, bridge, or denture — finished, in many cases, with same-day 3D-printed teeth.
Questions
Placement is done with local anesthetic (and sedation options if you'd like), and most patients are surprised by how comfortable it is. Any soreness afterward is usually mild and short-lived.
With good home care and regular checkups, implants are designed to last many years — often decades. The crown on top may eventually need replacing, like any restoration.
Every case is different, so we discuss cost and financing privately at your consultation rather than quoting figures online. We offer in-house plans plus CareCredit and Cherry.
That's common, and it's solvable. Dr. Chovatiya performs hard- and soft-tissue grafting to rebuild the site so an implant can be placed securely.
